Borland License Server Download, Installation and Hosting (GUI Installer)
This page provides instructions for obtaining the Borland License Server to accompany the purchase of concurrent or named user product licenses.
All three steps have to be completed in order to run the server successfully. If you have already installed the current version of the server and need to add more licenses, go directly to the Step 3.

to start the installer.
NOTE: In order to run Borland License Server as a service (UNIX restartable daemon), it is necessary to complete 1. and 2.
If JDK/JRE 1.4 is NOT installed on the host machine:
root. The installer will warn if you
are not.
belise
exists on host machine. The installer will warn you if the user does not exist.
./Belise.bin
and go through the graphical installer.
If JDK/JRE 1.4 is already installed on the host machine:
root. The installer will warn if you
are not.
belise
exists on host machine. The installer will warn you if the user does not exist.
java_home/bin has been added to the path. The
installer will display the following message if path is incorrect:./Belise.bin.
Note for existing TogetherSoft products customers : A toolkit has been provided to help reduce the amount of work involved with migrating user information from the Together Floating License Server to the Borland License Server. Instructions are included in the archive:
migration_toolkit.zip (Windows)
migration_toolkit.tar (Solaris, Linux)
